Delete Your Account

DevChain — by Twitech Lab

1. App & Developer

DevChain is developed and operated by Twitech Lab. This page describes how to request deletion of your DevChain account and what happens to your data.

2. How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open the DevChain mobile app and sign in.
  2. Go to SettingsAccount.
  3. Tap "Delete my account" and follow the confirmation prompts.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to cancel the deletion if you change your mind.

If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.

3. What Gets Deleted

Upon deletion, the following data is removed:

4. What Is Retained

Audit logs related to account deletion are scrubbed of PII at hard-delete. Other audit logs (login history, API key changes) retain anonymised actor IDs and event metadata for compliance. Backup snapshots auto-expire within 30 days of hard-delete.

5. 30-Day Grace Period

After you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time you can cancel the deletion from within the app or by clicking the cancellation link in the confirmation email.

If the grace period expires without cancellation, your account and associated data are permanently deleted as described above.

6. After Cancellation

If you cancel a pending deletion, your account is restored. However, device push tokens, notification preferences, quiet hours, smart-suppression settings, and rate-limit overrides are NOT restored — these were removed immediately when you requested deletion. You will need to re-enable push notifications and reconfigure your preferences.
